Borsao Reserva clasico


Variety: Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.

Mesure: 0,75 l.

Characteristics of the vineyard: Grapes come from vineyards situated on lime and clayey soils at a height of 550 and 700 meters. Harvest in second fortnight in October.

Elaboration: Fermentation of the different varieties separately in inox tanks with controlled temperatures between 22ºC and 28ºC, for 21 days, after which the wine is matured in Allier French oak barrels for a minimum of 14 months. The ageing is finished off in the bottle for 24 monhs.
Aged sixteen months in French oak, and a further twenty months in the bottle, this wine exhibits all the complexity and smoothness of a fine reserve wine.

Tasting notes: This wine is red in colour with traces of medium to high layer ruby.
Strong on the nose in which we obtain a perfect blend of spicy and balsamic tones that, together with the aroma from the oak provide an extensive complexity. It is a rich in tannin, meaty, very smooth and highly flavoured on the palate, with a very ample and elegant aftertaste.

Drinking temperature: 17ºC.
