A great white wine

Variety: 100% Macabeo.

Mesure: 0,75 l.

Characteristics of the vineyard: Grapes coming from vineyards located in slopes and on shingle soil at a height of 400-500 metres. Harvest in Mid-end of October

Elaboration: Temperature controlled fermentation at between 22ºC and 26ºC in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes: A wonderful aromatic dry white wine. Hints of white peach, spring flowers and a textured peach element give this delightful white a definite more-ish character. It t is a great match to many seafood dishes, especially Spanish paella.

Drinking temperature: 12ºC.

A surprising red wine

Variety: 100% Grenache.

Mesure: 3 l.

Characteristics of the vineyard: Vineyards of Garnacha from 10 to 15 years old planted on a plateau of the Huecha river.

Elaboration: Temperature controlled fermentation at between 22º C and 25º C in stainless steel tanks, where all the aromas are preserved. Done after a 15 days maceration period.

Tasting notes: Fresh bright red fruit balanced by a fine structure and ample bouquet. Viña Borgia is made from 100% Grenache and is a fine example of this varietal. This wine is vinified with utmost care and bottled under the strict supervision of the winemaker, José Luis Chueca Sáncho.

Drinking temperature: 16º C to 18º C.

BORSAO RESERVA SELECCION

A trio of aces: Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo

Variety: 55% Grenache, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Tempranillo.

Mesure: 0,75 l.

Characteristics of the vineyard: Mountain vineyards with an age of 20 to 40 years situated at an altitude of 500-700 meters on stony, slimy soils with clay and limestone.

Elaboration: Separate fermentation of each variety in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 24º-28º C with a peak of 32º C. Maceration during 15 days in total. The wine is submitted to an aging of 17 months in bordelaise barrels of French oak (90%) and American oak (10%).

Tasting notes: Elegant ruby and garnet colour over a very deep cherry red. Vigorous, alcohol-rich without cancelling the fruity smells and tastes that the soils of the region provide.

Drinking temperature: 17ºC.
